On November 5, it was announced that EQT has made a public offer to the shareholders of OEM International AB (publ) to tender all their shares at a price of SEK 110 in cash per share. OEM International’s four largest shareholders in terms of votes have irrevocably undertaken to EQT to accept the offer in respect of a majority of their respective shareholdings, amounting to approximately 72.5% of the total votes and approximately 25.7% of the total share capital in OEM International. The acceptance period of the Offer is expected to commence on or around December 19, 2024 and end on or around February 27, 2025, subject to any extensions. If the necessary regulatory approvals are granted, EQT is expected to become the new main owner in the OEM Group sometime in the first quarter of 2025.

According to what EQT has stated in its press release announcing the Offer, EQT intends to continue developing the decentralized model and entrepreneurial focus that has made the OEM Group successful. There are no decisions on any material changes that may impact the company’s employees and management or the existing organization and operations.
